Why Is It That Some People Put On Weight Only Around Their Middle?
I know it’s hereditary, but if it wasn’t for weight around the middle, I would be as slim as I was in my teens!
The hard part is there is really no way to get rid of this “waistline” weight. You can diet but you just become a smaller version of the same body shape if you know what I mean!
Any suggestions? I’d probably be 3 or 4 sizes smaller if the middle would just go! :~)

The human body is peculiar. Different body types (mesomorphs, endomorphs, and ectomorphs) will store fat in different ways and in different places. The good news is that your assumption that there is “no way” to get rid of that excess waistline weight is totally wrong. There IS a way to do it.
First and foremost, to burn excess fat stores, you have to burn excess calories. This is done most effectively by managing a proper nutrition plan and exercise. More specifically, a cardiovascular exercise routine as part of a comprehensive exercise plan will provide you the fastest progress. When you increase your heart rate to about 70-80% of your maximum heart rate and sustain it for about 20-40 minutes, you begin to burn fat calories. As you burn off about 3500 excess calories over a given period of time, you have essentially gotten rid of a full pound of body fat.
Strength training is important too. Work your other muscles in groups. While this may not directly impact your waistline, it will make you overall stronger (and sexier if you are into that).

to explain the shapes there are two types. gynoiod and android a gynoid type gains fat around the hips and theighs and the android gains it around the stomach. unfortunately u cant change this by diet alone and just dieting will cause you to go back to ur origional size. to do this requires a change in ur physical activity levels aswell as ur diet. if you dont imporve your exercise you wont get any metabolic gains and changes and this is what you need to improve.

Unfortunately it is genetic. Weight around the abdomen is also the most unhealthiest. People that gain all of their weight in their stomach (apple shaped) are at higher risk for a lot of different things, mainly heart disease. If you diet (or preferably change your lifestyle) you WILL lose weight here. You should also try a exercise regimen that targets the abdomen.
Good Luck!
